About the Employee Fund

Hospice and palliative care employees work hard to care for the patients and families they serve. The Carnation Foundation provides support to those employees in times of unusual need and financial hardship. The Carnation Foundation Employee Fund is supported primarily through the donations of fellow employees or the families of patients who received care from them.

My family and I experienced a horrible tragedy on October 4th, 2023. I received a call from my neighbors and security system that my house was on fire and the firefighters were in the process of rescuing my 2 fur babies (doggies) Bella and Sadie. My heart immediately began to pound extremely fast and the anxiety was overwhelming. The Carnation Foundation contacted me directly the next day, jumped in and provided assistance to my family and me. Thanks to the Carnation Foundation, your donations helped purchase clothes, medicine and basic necessities for my family and I as we lost everything in our home. My family’s horrible day became brighter because of your generosity.
